As I live now in Berlin, I’ve been soaking in on the techno music culture scene here. I wanted to experiment with this genre of music and Produce techno songs. A few years back, just before the corona pandemic started, I was working on an overnight sea cruise ship playing saxophone With a D.J. In my spare time, I Produced 3 techno tracks on my laptop. One of these tracks ended up being “God Bless America”.
I wrote this track as we were travelling through the night across the Baltic Sea. For this instrumental song, I wanted to create a memorable dark sounding anthem that I doubled later on the saxophone.
The extended version of this song was previously released as part of my 3 track E.P “Looking Beyond”.
